Made from certified organic amla fruit, our amla oil is a versatile and nourishing oil that can be used for hair and skin care. Amla oil is a type of macerated oil, also known as infused oil. Macerated oils are created by steeping plant material, such as herbs or fruits, in a carrier oil for a period of time to extract their beneficial properties.
To make amla oil, dried amla pieces are boiled and infused in a carrier oil, such as coconut or sesame oil, for a period of time to extract the beneficial compounds present in the amla fruit.
